About dementia & alzheimer's care

Caring for someone with Alzheimer's or another dementia asks more of a family than almost anything else. Our caregivers are trained in memory care: how to redirect gently, reduce agitation, keep a calming routine, and create a home that's safe when judgment and memory are slipping.

We focus on what your loved one can still do and enjoy — preserving dignity and connection through every stage.

Signs it may be time

  • Wandering, getting lost, or day–night confusion
  • Increasing agitation, anxiety, or repetition
  • Safety concerns with the stove, medications, or doors

Dementia & Alzheimer's Care — questions, answered

Are your caregivers specially trained for dementia?

Yes. Caregivers assigned to memory-care clients receive dementia-specific training in communication, redirection, behavior triggers, and safety, with ongoing support from our care team.

Can you help if my parent resists care?

Resistance is common and usually a sign of fear or confusion, not stubbornness. Our caregivers are trained to approach calmly, build trust, and adapt rather than force — which often turns the corner.

Do you provide overnight or around-the-clock dementia care?

Yes. Many memory-care families use 24-hour or live-in care for safety. We'll discuss the right level of supervision at the assessment.
