Reclaiming independence in daily life
Regain independence in daily living — dressing, bathing, cooking — with adaptive techniques and home modifications.

About occupational therapy
Occupational therapy helps people do the things that make up a day — dressing, bathing, cooking, getting around — again, safely and on their own. Our OTs assess how your loved one functions at home and adapt tasks, tools, and the environment to fit their abilities.
The goal is independence and confidence: doing more for themselves, with less risk.
Occupational Therapy — questions, answered
How is occupational therapy different from physical therapy?+
Physical therapy focuses on movement, strength, and mobility. Occupational therapy focuses on the practical skills of daily living — dressing, bathing, cooking — and adapting the home so they're doable and safe.
Can an OT recommend changes to our home?+
Yes. OTs commonly suggest practical modifications — grab bars, rearranged kitchens, adaptive tools — that make everyday tasks safer and easier.
Is it physician-ordered?+
Yes, home-health occupational therapy is provided under a physician's plan of care. We'll help coordinate orders.
